From Morning Prayer:

The Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, asking,

“Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”

And Jesus answered them,

“Those who are well have no need of a physician,

but those who are sick;

I have not come to call the righteous, 

but sinners to repentance.”

(from the Gospel of Luke)

I pray that this text finds you taking up our cross, seeing our destiny as Christians and repenting.

I pray that we may all have a day of repentance.

Please pray for all those listed in both parts of the litany from last Monday.
