From Domestic Liturgy:

5th Sunday of Lent
St. Patrick, Bishop, Patron and Apostle of Ireland

“Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say?

‘Father, save me from this hour’?

No,

for this purpose, I have come to this hour.

Father, glorify your name.”

Then a voice came from heaven,

“I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

The crowd standing by heard it and said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” Jesus answered,

“This voice has come for your sake, not for mine.

Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out; and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”

He said this to show by what death he was to die.

(from the Gospel of Jn 12: 20-33)

I pray that this text finds you seeing the forest despite the trees.

I pray that we may all have a day of knowing God is acting in our lives.

Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from last Monday (Part 1)(Part 2)(Part 3)(Part 4).

Simplicity, humility, praise - ✌️

P.S. Carol Vitry is in urgent need of our prayers.  She is in the hospital for fluid around her heart.
