From Morning Prayer:
The First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church
When Jesus came down from the mountain, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”
And He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying,
“I will; be clean.”
And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
And Jesus said to him,
“See that you say nothing to any one; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to the people.”
(loosely from the Gospel of Matthew)
I pray that this text finds you being a stalwart of faith.
I pray that we may all have had a day of tithing.
Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from last Monday (Part 1)(Part 2)(Part 3)(Part 4).
